Rent Café
What is RENT CAFÉ'?
Wake County Housing Authority uses RENT Café, a secure online portal, to help you manage your housing information. RENT Café replaces many paper forms and allows you to complete required program activities online.
Effective July 1, 2026, all Applicants, Residents, and Landlords are required to use RENT Café. We are inviting Users to register for RENT Café NOW.
Using RENT Café is required to remain eligible for the Housing Choice Voucher Program and the Public Housing Program. There is NO COST to you to create or use your account.
Once you create your RENT Café account, you will be able to:
- View notices and program information
- Review and update your contact information
- Submit required documents electronically
- Submit Maintenance Requests
- Submit HCV Self-Inspections for Recertification
Beginning with the next program year, annual recertifications will be completed online through RENT Café.
If you experience problems registering or need help using the portal, please contact RENT Café support using the assistance information provided.
Language and Disability Assistance
If you have limited English proficiency, need information in another language, or require help because of a disability, the Wake County Housing Authority will provide FREE assistance. Reasonable accommodation and language assistance services are available upon request.
