Wake County in Partnership with local fire departments is actively recruiting individuals to consider a career in Firefighting. 

They're offering full pay and benefits during training and paying for the tuition at the Wake County Fire Academy.

There are two (2) upcoming sessions in Wake Forest, NC:

The first session will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Alston Massenburg Community Center located at 416 N.  Taylor Street, Wake Forest, NC 27587

The second session will be held on June 30, 2022 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the Northern Regional Center located at 305 E. Holding Avenue, Wake Forest, NC  27587.

During your time in the academy, you'll receive hands on and classroom training and receive certifications in:

Firefighter

Hazardous Materials

Incident Command System

Rapid Intervention

EMT Basic
