GET $20 in SNAP Tokens at Participating Farmers Markets in November

For the month of November only, participating Double Bucks Farmers Markets in Wake County will offer $20 in market tokens to anyone impacted by the federal shutdown.  

To participate, anyone impacted by the federal shutdown can go to the participating market's welcome tent to get $20 in market tokens.  Tokens can be spent on food only.  A list of participating markets is available at wake.gov/farmersmarkets.

Wake County has partnered with Advance Community Health, Urban Ministries of Wake County, Wake Med, and Duke Health Primary Care providers to provide twice per month produce box deliveries to eligible clients.  To qualify you must be an existing client of a participating clinic highlighted above and meet the following qualifications:

  • 18+
  • Live in Wake County
  • Food or nutrition insecure
  • Have one of the following conditions:
    • Prediabetes or diabetes
    • Hypertension
    • Overweight or obesity
    • Hyperlipidemia
