The Housing Authority of the County of Wake seeks public input to revise its 2026 Annual Plan and to approve a Five-Year Plan. These are U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements.
A public hearing is set for Thurs., Feb. 26, 2026, at 10 a.m. held in the Authority's Administrative Office Building Large Conference Room at 100 Shannon Drive, Zebulon, N.C. 27597.
The following will be open for consideration for the revised annual plan:
- 90-Day Moratorium on Portability
- Issuance of Project-Based Vouchers
- Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA) required additional language to the agency's Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP)
A Five-Year Plan consists of agency goals and objectives from FY 2026 to FY 2030.
